Sheldrake BnB is a Bed & Breakfast/Holiday Home in picturesque Whanarua Bay, on State Highway 35 and just over an hour's drive from Opotiki.

State Highway 35 is renowned for its beautiful views of the ocean and uninhabited beaches.

It's a road few know about and well worth the detour from the beaten track.

This sustainably built open-plan studio, with modern amenities, is surrounded by peace and natural beauty.

SheldrakeBnB faces the Pacific Ocean and the view from the deck is framed by magnificent native trees.

A selection of breakfast ingredients are supplied for you to prepare at your own leisure. The kitchen cupboards hold most basic ingredients and if you plan to self-cater you will need to provide your own fresh ingredients. Opotiki and Gisborne are our nearest supermarkets.

The kitchen has a large fridge, a freezer compartment, a two burner hob, a convection microwave and a Nespresso coffee maker for those who need their morning "fix".

A comfortable king-sized bed sleeps two and a sofa bed can accommodate another one or two people.

SheldrakeBnB is really only suitable for four as an overnight arrangement. Whilst the cottage is spacious for two, it is not quite so roomy for four.

The base price of $185 is for 1 or 2 people sharing a bed. If you would prefer to sleep separately then please book for a third person and I will make up the sofa bed.  Please Note: SheldrakeBnB is not suitable for children younger than 12.
